I have had acupuncture on and off for about 25 years and started seeing Michael back in Spring 2019 and have been seeing him since for various things. Initially it was for my elbow which someone... told me to get PT for. I chose acupuncture because it was has always worked for me. Michael did what he does and I walked out of there with about 75% reduction in pain. Next treatment, no pain and it has been that way to this day. I recently went to him for degenerative arthritis in my lower back which radiated down the front of my thigh. Michael addressed this and it’s gone. I have sent both my husband and son to him for various things and they report the same results. Acupuncture is nothing short of amazing. Both Michael and Marika are incredible, knowledgeable, experts in their field with great personalities! The depth of their training goes beyond acupuncture which is important to me. You will keep coming back for more, just because it feels so good.read more

Marika and Michael are both amazing humans and so dedicated to providing their clients with a safe space to heal / maintain their health. I saw Marika weekly through my pregnancy. She was incredible... at supporting the changes in my body - and knowledgeable in how to treat things that came up, including treating me (and reassuring me all was okay) when i was past my expected due date. I felt prepared for labor when it was time to deliver in part due to my weekly sessions with Marika. I am forever thankful for that.read more

Michael at Golden Light Acupuncture is an absolute 10/10. Came to Michael through a recommendation for thyroid abnormalities, which we are currently managing so I can hopefully avoid taking... medication in the future. But the biggest surprise came when I mentioned hip pain that I had been living with for years and Michael was able to alleviate my hip pain almost completely in just 2 sessions and I now experience no pain without any further treatment to the area. It sounds too good to be true but even my personal trainer could not deny that the way I walked was improved, my flexibility was improved and I was able to do new workouts with her that I was unable to attempt before due to my hip. In addition to the magic Michael performs to alleviate my physical pain, he also helps to relieve stress and emotional hardships. By incorporating moments of rest, light mediation and stretching advice he is able to truly be a holistic healer and heal the mind, body and spirit. I really enjoy my visits and always leave feeling happier then when I walked through the door.read more

As a perfectly young and healthy person I never really felt acupuncture was necessary or even beneficial. I couldn't have been more wrong. Turns out I do have a few aches and pains, which immediately... went away. I felt much better walking out than I did walking in. Michael did a fantastic job making my first session a very pleasant experience. If there were ten stars I'd give 10/10!read more

I feel lucky to have met Michael and his wife at an event at Stone Wave Yoga. Michael works in NYC a few days a week so I started to see him inn the city - about once a month just for wellness... check-ins. He takes very good care of you while you are there... and integrates multiple modalities in with the acupuncture... it's PURE BLISS!!! He helped me take a stress knot out of my back/neck, relieve stress overall, and release tension from the body in various areas (wherever it was showing up).Highly recommend - I always walk out feeling better than when I walked in!!read more

I have been going to Dr, Michael for some time now. I have had a lot of problems with my hip bones and had already spent a small fortune on Osteopaths. But he fixed it in a couple of visits. Not only... that, I had been having the flu repeated over and over again. He found the root of it and its cured!Feel so lucky to have found him. He gives you full attention.
